Boys Hope Girls Hope Cincinnati and The Cincinnati Police Department Team Up

Last night at a wonderful celebration hosted by John Barrett & Western and Southern, Cincinnati Police Chief Jeffrey Blackwell announced a new youth outreach initiative with Boys Hope Girls Hope Cincinnati–Hoops for Hope. This initiative, which takes form as a midnight basketball league, aims to reduce youth crime while also teaching children a variety of life skills and stressing the importance of education!

“The basketball’s the hook. The real rub for us and Boys Hope/Girls Hope is to get these at-risk kids and give them some training, some intervention and some conflict-resolution training,” Blackwell said. Boys Hope Girls Hope is honored to be a partner in this city-wide initiative. To learn more, click on the Channel 5 news link below!
